The JBL On Time 400iHD features a built-in dock so you can enjoy music from your iPod as well as the radio. Two full-range speakers deliver your tunes with clear, spacious stereo sound. The system's tuner receives regular AM and FM signals, as well as the digital HD Radio versions that many stations now simulcast. You'll also have access to the free, digital-only HD Radio programming some stations offer.
iTunes tagging — save song info for later purchasing
Certain stations will soon include additional data in some of their HD Radio broadcasts to let you "tag" songs for convenient purchase through iTunes. As you're listening to one of these HD Radio broadcasts, press the "Wish List" button when you hear a song you like. This saves the song information (but not the song itself) to the system's memory. These tags automatically transfer to your iPod the next time you dock it to the 400iHD. Sync your iPod to your computer, and your tagged selections appear as a list in iTunes for easy previewing and purchasing.
A clock radio that lets you choose your wake-up alarm
The 400iHD's built-in clock radio lets you awake to the sound of a buzzer, a song or playlist from your iPod, or your favorite AM, FM, or HD Radio station. And the On Time's large, easy-to-read display has an automatic dimmer that adjusts itself to the brightness of your room. A convenient remote lets you adjust the volume from across the room, and also control basic functions on your iPod, such as play, pause and skip a track.
