Did you catch the featured front page story in yesterday's Stamford Advocate?  If not, you should. It talks of an compilation of about 40 photographs that will be part of an exhibit called "Barn (Consciousness) Raising"It's set to open this March at the Mayor's Gallery inside the Stamford Goverment Center. The subjects are the picturesque barns in the greater Stamford area, rustically beautiful yet many facing extinction. Sixteen local photographers (including longtime CWS customer Phil Nelson) have participated in this project, curated by Renee Kahn and will be part of a census conducted by the Connecticut Trust for Historic Preservation. We congratulate all involved & wish them well in their ongoing efforts to archive these beautiful edifices.
