The Sony MZ-NF520D Net MD Minidisc Player with Remote is a tiny portable Minidisc with the futuristic look of a trendy fashion accessory, featuring a high-tech, metallic white color, with chrome detail elements. The price tag is equally attractive. A digital Tuner has been built into the unit, providing access to 41 stations from the FM, TV and Weather bands via a back-lit remote control, which also navigates the transports and various playback and function modes.
The USB port on the MZNF520D enables digital, bi-directional computer connectivity at speeds of up to 32x, and a broad selection of Windows versions, both classic and current, is supported. Think - USB I/O with a radio.
A CD-ROM software package, with full track and title transfer capabilities, and playlisting, is supplied with the MZNF520D, and MP3, WAV and WMA files are supported. The superior fidelity of MDLP(lower resolution), provided by the DSP TYPE-S playback function, and G-Protection shock resistance, are additional improvements in the technology, and are featured standard with the MZNF520D.
