• 2-in-1 Functionality: The filter provides a variable neutral density from ND4 to ND64 (2 to 6 stops of light reduction), allowing for creative control over exposure and motion blur in bright conditions. Simultaneously, the CPL function helps manage reflections from non-metallic surfaces like water or glass and enhances color and contrast (e.g., in blue skies).
• High-Quality Optics: It is crafted from imported AGC optical glass with 28 layers of nano-coating on both sides. This coating makes the filter waterproof, scratch-resistant, and oil-repellent, while maintaining high image quality with low reflectivity (as low as 0.2%).
• Design and Build: The filter frame is made from a lightweight aluminum alloy and features a CNC non-slip design with a putter (lever) to easily adjust the stop settings. It utilizes self-locking technology to avoid the common "X" cross pattern issue, even at wide angles. There are specific markings on the frame from ND4 to ND64 to help users accurately set the desired level of light reduction.
• Compatibility Note: This filter is designed for lenses with an 82mm thread size. Due to the variable mechanism, an 86mm lens cap or hood is required when the filter is attached to the lens.
