The 7-element optical design delivers a unique vintage rendering, smooth bokeh, and excellent low-light performance. It features the iconic "rabbit ears" metering prong and a long, tactile focus throw perfect for precise manual adjustments.

Note: As a Pre-AI lens, it is ideal for vintage Nikon film bodies (F, F2, Nikkormat) and adapts perfectly to modern mirrorless systems (Sony, Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon Z) via mechanical adapters. Unmodified Pre-AI lenses should not be mounted on modern Nikon DSLRs.
