The 20mm f/3.5 Nikkor UD Non-AI was Nikon's first SLR compatible ultra-wide angle lens and was popular with photojournalists. Production ran from 1968 to 1974. This is a large, well-known ultra-wide lens known for even light distribution across the image area. Capable of focusing down to 12", the Nikkor 20mm f/3.5 offers dramatic perspectives in close-ups or the impression of vast expanses in scenic photography.
This is a Non-AI lens and will not work properly on later Nikon bodies that require AI lenses for meter coupling. It is very suitable for Nikon F and F2 cameras (not the F2A or F2AS) and most Nikkormats.
