New camera introductions are coming fast and furious this fall and we're highlighting the best of them, with the next camera in the spotlight being Nikon's newest & best point & shoot...The Nikon Coolpix P7100  was developed to be the ultimate photographic tool and is the top model in the COOLPIX series, offering even better image quality and portability than its predecessor, the COOLPIX P7000 , as well as additional features that make photographic imaging more fun. It is a high-end compact digital camera that lives up to the COOLPIX flagship label with advanced functions and a refined design that will satisfy even users of digital-SLR cameras. In addition, the P7100 offers a special effects mode that makes expressing yourself through photographs more fun with a variety of options, including mechanically controlled zoom exposure,  background defocus during exposure and the new Cross Process feature that mimics the effect of deliberately processing color film in the wrong solutions (All you "hipsamatic" fans say YEAH!) , and a new 3-inch, 921k-dot tilting TFT LCD monitor with wide viewing angle enables shooting of a variety of scenes from a broad range of angles.   • Variety of bracketing functions including exposure and white balance for added image control and convenience
  • Virtual horizon can be displayed in the LCD to facilitate composition
  • High-speed continuous shooting, up to 90 pictures at full resolution at up to 1.2 fps to"capture the moment”
  • Four exposure modes (P/S/A/M )that can be set with the mode dial
  • Macro mode allows shooting distance as close as approx. 8/10 in.
