Citing that they wanted to produce lenses that matched in quality to their new D3s DSLR, Nikon announced a new super telephoto zoom, their AF-S NIKKOR 200-400mm f/4G ED VR II, which is an update to a similar lens released in 2003. It has Nikon's Nano Crystal coating technology to reduce flaring and ghosting, as well as the new and improved VR II to handle image stabilization.
