We're happy & proud to announce that Camera Wholesalers was named "Best Camera Store in Fairfield County" for the SIXTH year in a row by the readers of the Fairfield County Weekly in their 2010 Reader Poll! To quote from their blurb (online & on newstands today):  "These days, it can be impossible to find a good camera shop without heading to Best Buy or an online dealer. At Camera Wholesalers, you can chat about the good old days of film with the employees if you're so inclined. This is where photography lovers go to hang out & where anyone can go for some simple assistance". We thank all of you who voted for us and pledge that we’ll do everything in our power to continue to live up to this cool & wonderful honor. This exhibit will run at the museum thru June 6th. "IMAGES"  is a juried photography exhibition hosted by the Fairfield Museum to celebrate the exceptional work of 49 talented regional photographers, including Grand Prize Winner John Hafey, a Fairfield resident whose winning image is called "Rock Wall #2" (seen below). The 2010 exhibition will also feature the work of photographer Jay Maisel, an ASMP Life Time Achievement award-winner, ASMP Photographer of the Year, and International Center of Photography’s Infinity Award-Winner. There's a number of special photo related programs for all ages to commemorate the exhibition, including an evening with Mr. Maisel on May 27th.
