For the last few weeks, we have been warning both to our walk-in customers and online of the inpending shortages of photo equiptment that will occur because of the tragic earthquake/tsunami in Japan last March. It appears that the shortages have begun, as an article that was published online this morning on Photo District News' website, citing that at this moment, such popular cameras as the Nikon D7000 and the Canon 5D Mark II are currently VERY difficult to impossible to obtain: That being said, we want to let you know that we have been very fortunate to recieve goods over the last few weeks & consider ourselves very well stocked as we're coming into Memorial Day and the start of summer. As of the day of this post (5/25), we have stock of Nikon D7000's and Canon 5D Mark II's, many of the most popular lenses and flashes from Canon & Nikon, as well as good stock of Nikon USA refurbished items. If you're looking for a particular photo product and have had some trouble finding it, please give us a call or shoot us an email at; there's a good chance that we currently have it! Our free class of the week is "HD Video for Your DSLR", tomorrow night at 7 in the store.
