A great number of our customers are parents of young children and we are forever asked how you can take great photographs of your kids. If you fit this description, do we have an event for you! We've added a new class to our schedule of free in-store Thursday night seminars that will give you tons of great shooting tips & advice on getting priceless photos of your child, whether he/she is a newborn, baby or toddler (and beyond!) So we invite you to join us on Thursday, September 8th at 7PM for our first " Baby, Newborn & Children's Photography Class". We anticipate it to be a successful and well attended class & will be given quarterly as part our class schedule. Please check our schedule posted to the right of this announcement for classes up to the end of September. For tips that you can use right away, please click onto an article that was in Sunday's New York Times with advice from prominent baby photographer (and Sony Artisan of Light) Me Rah Koh: http://gadgetwise.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/08/21/taking-baby-photos-youll-drool-over/ . While the article is written primarily for baby photos, the tips can be applied to older children as well! And if you're interested in mastering the basics of using your camera, join us for our "Digital Point & Shoot Basics" class this coming Thursday (8/25)  and "Digital SLR Basics"  the following Thursday (September 1st). We hope to you then! (Photo by Fred Bonilla)
